The 20th Anniversary Reunion and Gathering of the Clan MacRae Society of Australia and New-Zealand will be held over the October long weekend at the beautiful township of Bungendore in the southern tablelands of New South Wales.
The township of Bungendore was established in 1837, the area being originally occupied by the Ngarigu people. Within 30 minutes travel from Canberra, Queanbeyan and Goulburn it must rank as one of the most attractive small townships in southern New South Wales. Many of its buildings, public and private, date from the mid 19th century and with the township and the region offering numerous attractions and a superb range of galleries, accommodation and restaurants, it is now one of the most pleasant venues for a short stopover or a weekend in the wider region.
